Christmas festivities 2010

This holiday season has been so fun! We have had ugly sweater parties, Birthday parties, Reunions (where I sand with my uncle all night, which was a blast!) and much more. It was so nice to be able to be with the ones you love during the holidays. Lets start out with the Lugo reunion/party. My Grandpa has 13 brothers and sisters, so you could only imagine what this reunion might look like! The Lugos are from Puerto Rico and they make the BEST rice and beans (especially my Grandpa I think he has everyone beat!) So we had a lot of Puertarican food, played some fun games & danced & had some entertainment. Santa was so nice to take some time out of his busy schedule & come visit the Lugo Kids, grand kids, & great grand kids. Ally loved him of coarse but Rhett wasn't sure what to think of him... but he didn't cry :) Here are s few pics (didn't have my camera to take better pics of the kids with Santa *sigh*)

Rhett & his cousin Olivia are 10 days apart. Aren't they adorable!!

Ugly Sweater Party!!
We went with my Dad & his family to a ugly sweater party. We had a lot of fun. Joey is wearing my great Grandmas sweater. I was lucky enough to keep her sweater and carry on the cute/ugly sweater :) This picture just makes me smile. My kids are starting to get to know my Dad really well & they have a lot of fun with him!

Allys Dance recital

Ally has been going to dance class the past little while & she had her little recital on Saturday to show of her skills. :) She was so excited about it she could hardly sleep the night before. Ally is a little performer & was amazing. She new all the moves & did them so well! We were so happy some of our family could make it to watch her her special performance (Thanks guys). As soon as it was over she said to Joey & me "Can I do that again?" ha ha so here comes another season of dance class for her! I am so proud of my little girl & I had tears in my eyes watching her.
She is such an amazing little angel & I love her with all of my heart!

9 Months

Yes I know I haven't posted forever! It has been a crazy couple months & I am sure all of you would agree with me! :) Well here he is, 9 months already! I can not believe he is 3 months away from being ONE!! Rhett is already a character. He loves to clap & dance, he also knows where things are when I say them and he will point to them. OH today was a big mile stone... HE TOOK 6 STEPS!!!! I am happy & sad about this. I am happy because he is such a big boy & is walking, duh of coarse I am a proud mommy, but sad because he is too big. Rhett is an eater, in fact we call him the hoover. He loves anything you put in front of him & it is gone in seconds flat. I love my little Rhettro so much & I am so glad he is mine!!

I am thankful for....

I know it is past Thanksgiving but I never posted in November. I wanted to share what I was thankful for. First I want to say that my family has an amazing tradition, every thanksgiving before we eat we all write down what we are thankful for & then read them aloud to each other. We cry & we laugh but it is a tradition that we will do forever. In my list here are a few of the things that were said.....
I am so grateful for my husband Joey. He is the most incredible man I know. Not only does he work so hard to support our family but he is going to school to make a better life for us, might I add he is a straight A student (so so proud of him). On top of all that he is an AMAZING daddy to our two beautiful kids. I could not have asked for anyone better to share my life with! I got the whole package a handsome, smart, loving, caring, hard working, best friend, amazing dad & incredible husband and sweet man.... I am one lucky girl!

Next of coarse are my two beautiful kids! My kids are what I love for. They are my life & I would do anything for them. I hope that they know how much they mean to me! I am so incredibly lucky to raise them & give them guidance. Words can not express my love for them.
Ally:
She is such a smart, sweet, and loving little girl. I don't know how I was so blessed to have her as my daughter but I am so thankful that she is! She is such a witty little thing & makes me laugh all the time! She is pretty amazing!

Rhett:
What a sweet little guy. I am so so happy he is a part of our family. He is a busy little thing & keeps me on my toes but I am grateful for that! He is one sweet baby!

My Mom & Mat. They have been there for me whenever I need them they are amazing. I don't know how I will ever repay them but I hope they know how grateful I am to have them be apart of my life!

Dad & Teresa
My brother & sisters.

My home, place to sleep, roof over my head, safe place for my family

Of coarse I am thankful for each one of my family member & lots of other things. This post would take forever to get through if I listed all the things I was grateful for :) Just to sum it up I am so Thankful for my life.
